Use your cleanse week to create healthy RITUALS throughout your day…

Herbal tea (good quality) will help you eliminate toxins and flush your system. Have something to drink when your experiencing sugar cravings. You may also like to try some turmeric or healthy latte’s by Nutra Organics at night to help you sleep or curb cravings that you experience after dinner

This is a great opportunity to keep a journal. Create a new ritual of writing in it daily. Work out what time suits your life. It might be first thing in the morning or in bed at night. You can journal whatever you want. I usually have health coaching clients start by writing down how many hours sleep they had, what mood they woke up in, how much water they drink during the day etc and then finish at night with thoughts and feelings from the day. Its a great way to let go of anything that didn’t work out that day, write it down, sleep and wake up and start the new day fresh.

Planning the day is a game changer! If you have no clarity about what is is you’re trying to get done in any given day, you’ll be busy, but probably not productive. If you plan your day the night before or first thing in the morning, you’ll not only get more done in less time. You’ll also experience more flow.

Don’t begin the activities of your day until you know exactly what you plan to accomplish. Don’t start your day until you have it planned.

Reading allows you to learn from the wisdom and experience of others because we’ve only gotten this far when we’ve read and understood the adventures and experiments of those that documented their knowledge for us.

Books are a great tool for personal development. If your a busy person like me then I would suggest you trying out Audible. I listen to 2 books a month, usually when I am driving around or doing something that doesn’t require thinking - like housework!

Implementing quiet time or meditation each day develops better thinking and reduces your stress levels. Our minds can be filled with so many things. When your mind feels cluttered, it’s easy to get caught up in whatever comes up first, rather than what’s actually most important. One of the benefits of shutting down outside noise and distraction is that you get time to clear your head and just think properly.

One quick and straightforward way to reduce stress is to carve out 10-15 minutes regularly to sit quietly, meditate, listen to music, go for a peaceful walk, take a brief nap or lie on your shakti mat.

When deciding whether you should supplement, it is best to understand what the word supplement means. It is defined as something that completes or enhances something else when added to it. When you think of this in terms of nutritional supplements, they are meant to enhance your health. Personally, I love the extra energy that my vitamins, minerals and other supplements provide me !

Dr Mark Hyman explains it well. Have a read of this and let me know if you want to know more info on what I take
