Coaching Agreement

Your coaching space will always support you to be outside your comfort zone, to bring out your best for growth and transformation towards your life and health goals.

My job is to stay on top of you doing yours. I will always be upfront, honest, and frank. Expect that from me. Having said that, know that I am ALWAYS on your side. I say what needs to be said, and it’s not always what someone wants to hear. A good coach is objective and honest.

That is what you will get from me. If you are slacking or pulling away from your coaching, expect me to discuss this with you. A good client will handle feedback knowing it may be a hard to hear, but is always for their own good.

 

  • I will trust the process and understand certain things may surface that make me feel uncomfortable and I will communicate this with Melissa.

  • I will feel safe in each coaching session to talk freely about myself personally and trust this information will stay confidential.

  • I will be on time for our sessions each week.

  • I will be present with Melissa and free from distraction for our sessions.

  • I will be prepared for each coaching session with any questions or areas I may need coaching on.

  • I will make sure Melissa knows everything she needs to know so she can coach me.

  • I will maintain high expectations for both myself and Melissa.

  • I give Melissa permission to be direct and bold with me.

  • I will take my own notes and be responsible for my own learning and takeaways.

  • I will provide Melissa with feedback on what’s working and what’s not.

  • I will inform Melissa of scheduling conflicts more than 48 hours in advance of our session or I’ll forfeit my coaching time.

Coaching Assessment

As your Coach, it is important for me to understand how you view the world in general and yourself in particular.

Every person has their own unique and personal way of interacting with their surroundings.

These questions will provide a means for me to understand you and your current position more closely and thus enable me to coach you to bring out your best, help facilitate the release of the emotions that are stuck, so that you may move forward in life with more zest, confidence, and courage to overcome future challenges.

Please take some time to answer the questions below. Make yourself a conscious cuppa and sit, relaxed and write your responses as thoughtfully and clearly as possible.

These questions are designed to be ‘thought over’ and to stimulate your thinking about both present and past. So, feel free to take some time out for yourself, do it when you are calm, in a quiet place by yourself, and feeling comfortable.

I am ok with you hand writing the answers if its easier and then scanning it back to me or typing it out and emailing me. If you have any queries, please let me know and we can discuss them.
